On the fabia vRS i recently brought im sure the alarm has been uprated, when you lock it beeps once, unlock it beeps twice, same key etc. Anyone know what alarm this could be? Or what features it may have?

The standard ones can be made to beep I believe via VAGCOM.

Possibly just the previous owner activated it?

if its on the same button both lock and open its possible it could be a clifford alarm but it should say so on the key fob itself. my alarm what i had on the fiesta was **** but the one on fabia vRS's are realy good and apperently so i've been told because i live in a fairly rough area that they are one of the hardest cars to break into too
