Hi,when im driving my vrs mark 2 a bit fast when i come to stop at junctions and put it in to first gear at about 5 miles an hour i get a clunk this only happens when im moving still with clutch in ?

Should wait until stationary to put a car into first gear .

There should be a synchro blocker thing to keep you from frying first gear. If you force it in before the car has stopped you will wear ii out.
