I had the TCS and the ABS lights come on on my fabia vrs mk1. i took it to a garage for a diagnostic speed senor was the problem. I've now fitted a new sensor but the lights are still on. do i need to take it back to the garge to get them taken off or should they go off on their own.

Anyone with VCDS should be able to clear the code.

If you paid the garage to read the code, and have a laptop, you might benefit from getting hold of VCDS yourself. At the cheapest end you can get a cable off ebay for about £15 but you can only use VCDS lite shareware with it.
