Am thinking of changing the above as they seem pretty cheap. But do they actually make a difference?

Secondly is it a job that can be done by yourself, or does it require secialist tools, ramps etc?

Its a bugger to do without ramps, also the engine and transmission should really be supported from below while you remove the dogbone mount to change the bush.

Dogbone easy enough. Think you have too lower the subframe to do the rack bush. sure somebody with more knowledge than me will be along shortly.

Dog mount bush , you will see some benifit , more than the steering bush

Dog mount is easy with a vive and jack n stands. From lookin at the rack bush you can remove the air box and pis do it that way. Not done mine yet. Waitin for a TT rack.
