Hi I have been away for a long time.

I have just been searching around all the media in my computer and come across this. I photoshopped this octavia coupe myself - for those who may not have seen it here it is. I have always wondered why VAG and Skoda never made one? I think it looks nice as a concept

Skoda would never make it because VW and Audi wouldn't want their sales to drop, with buyers opting for a sleak coupe at a bargain price

after all the fabia has a limited market without a 3 door version too

needs a lower roof line IMO, not just fewer doors..

no way vag would make this however as its only going to steal sales from the more profitable scirocco, tt, a5 etc

If it was different like the calibra was to the cavalier ( for want of a better example ) or the cougar to the mondeo, then yeah I can see a market for it, albeit limited, as the main attraction of the octy vrs is practical performance, if you want outright performance you'd look elsewhere, but the 'shop above just fills in the door shuts, not really any different to the original!
