we went up the pass from ullswater, down the struggel, then did a loop around the opposite side of ambleside, that Ian had planned, was a good run, traffic could cause problems, but the roads were good not sure of the loop, amybe Ian can enlighten you

I would have some video up but again my laptop isn't reading off my memory card......grrrrrrrrrrr Will have another go in a minute.

The route was following the A592 from Rheged past Ulswater - Kirkstone pass and down the struggle to Ambleside. Heading through the town and taking the A593 to Coniston. Just as entering Coniston take first left to short cut to the B5285 to Hawkshead. After Hawkshead Hill turn left at the main junction and take the B5286 back to Ambleside.
