I've read a few posts on these on VWVortex and the consensus seems to be there are much better things to spend money on and they're not really worth it.

If they're so sure of their figures, why haven't they linked their sources?

The claim that you will actually get more power from lighter pulleys is nonsense; you should get a freer revving engine but that's all.

Since they specifically say that these are underspeed pulleys, you will get a reduction in absorbed power from those items on the underspeeds, but since they've not actually said which pulleys are being replaced...

From what I have read on other forums it is a bad idea to change the crankshaft pulley as it is a harmonic dampener which can cause an adverse effect and there are no benefits to changing the others.

I'd agree that you don't want to replace a harmonic damper with a solid billet pulley, but why wouldn't you get reciprocating mass and reduced power consumption gains from fitting lighter under-speed pulleys to ancilliaries?
