JUST TEST DRIVEN A NEW FABIA VRS

Featured Replies

Went up to Allams to see James today about my new car....and was offered a test drive in the new Fabia Vrs.....you have seen the videos and looked/drooled all over the pictures........so does it go.........OH yes, it's just constant acceleration, apart from when you start from rest when it jumps just slightly, it's like being on the end of a very long stretched rubber band, it goes....and goes...and goes, and I wish I could have one but it's too small a car for my needs.

Anything else? well it was Green with black wheels (I would have prefered white) and it really does look the part.......when we left it had 8 yes eight miles on the clock.....James has kindly asked Briskoda members up to the launch day....which I will put up here

I test drove one today too and was very impressed with it. Didn't think I'd get used to the DSG and paddles but it feels natural. So natural in fact when I jumped in my vRS my hands fell into the position of the pedals automatically.

nah it looked better with the green wheels. if anyone on here wants to buy me one then feel free! every time i put my foot down a little bit it would try to wheel spin and would get to quite high speeds(just dont ask how high!!). thanks to james for letting me have a go in it. hopefully in a year or two it will go down a bit in price and then i can have one. wasnt sure about the dsg thingy bob to start with as i have only driven manual cars but i got on with it really well until i had to slow down and tried to change down a gear-just had to keep thinking in my head dont use left hand or foot. but apart from that it is a really really nice car to drive. its brilliant how many looks you get as well driving in a bright green car!

anyone who can get to alloms for the launch day-go for it. you really do need to test drive it to believe how great it is.
