thats the plan !

the vw dealer i bought it from have gave me a three month warranty !

so i shall see that out first before i chuck money at it

ive got around 3.5k set aside for modification so that should happily pay for a hybrid turbo give or take a little

Photos please :)

as said in the first post i havent got pictures as yet but i shall get some tomorrow.. i was to busy driving it today :p

posted another topic about a certain tuning box in question !..

any help that could be given to me in that area in the mean time would be fantastic as ive used the search but had no luck ! :(

Congratulations on buying the VRS, BUT, if you wanted a faster car you should have bought a faster car. I know it's your car, but honestly, the VRS gets modified to hell and back, and in most cases, people then moan about clutches and flywheels breaking up. Here are a few facts. Insurance will be a LOT dearer for a modified car, compared to a standard car with the same power (eg different type of car).

90% of clutch failures are on mapped cars, same goes for gearboxes.

Not having a go at you personally, I just hate to see perfectly good cars ruined with poor mods.

you make it sound like i haven't modified cars before ?

im perfectly aware of the comprimises that comes with modifying ! (i do own a m3 slaying peugeot 205 after all)

also with the cost of insurance;

and as for buying a faster car in the first place: im sorry but that just doesnt "do it" for me, as far as i see it there is no fun in that what so ever

Sounds like a nice buy. What colour is it?

Parts on mine are now upto 6800 excluding labour :o

Thats two clutches one was a sachs that bit the dust!! Shoulda just bought a 330 diesel or an ibiza cupra tdi and mapped that 200 horseys for £300

nice low mileage, what year, colour etc emoticon-0148-yes.gif

how come you keep bleating on about keeping a Fabia vRS standard, yet modified Morris Minors are cool?

Morris minor's were never cool, and never will be I'm afraid. :giggle:

black background with a red autobot on (im really into transormers.. right back to when i was little i used to watch the cartoons)

also first up is the pd160 intake with green filter

then egr valve delete pipe from allard

then buying the milltek large bore d/pipe and exhaust from awesome

then a remap..

how much power should i be expecting from this ?

would i need to uprate the clutch using these mods with a remap?

i will do it eventually when i get a FMIC and pd150 turbo !

but its just to see me a better power increase asap really ?

help would be appreciated

Modified Morris Minors are not cool, they are extremely cool :p I'd love to see someone get 550 BHP out of a VRS

Seriously though, high power Moggies are not modified, just completely re-engineered. 5 link back end. Double wishbone front suspension. 5 speed Sierra box, 700 Hours and 70K later

Don't forget to set aside some stash for a new clutch, you'll certainly be needing one with the mods you have planned.emoticon-0148-yes.gif

yeah, but spunk that much time and money on a Fabia and you'd end up with at least the the same performance

wondered what the 'moggytec' username was all about, that explains it then emoticon-0136-giggle.gif
