wonky vrs exhaust

Featured Replies

As mentioned above the exhaust is sitting to one side of the cut out on the bumper ,both rubber mountings seem to be on correctly .

I thought it may just have been bent ,but there was a vrs on ebay tonight with the same problem .

Any ideas ?

Also is there a secret to the search forums tool as it seems to bring up lots of unrelated topics

Cheers

Either one of the rubber mounts has stretched (even if it looks like they are still on properly)

Or the metal lugs on the exhaust that fit into the rubber mounts are shearing away from the exhaust coz of rust etc (one of mine is at the back)

I've just had mine sorted mate.....Take off the rubber mount, and bend the bracket / arm on your exhaust. It will allow you to straighten it up and also lift it up as teh do have a habit of hanging too low too. It looks much better and is dead simple to do (getting it up on ramps does help!)

I dont want to hijack your thread but on a very similar topic I want to change my exhaust to twin pipes. My mechanic is going to well me two 60mm rolled tips on the existing pipes.

I know a few people have twin pipes but I cant find them, can anyone throw me a few pics please to give me some ides?

Cheers. jame
