Installed HL2 yesterday and the game works fine. I registered etc and have ben playing online without any bother.

However when I try and sign on the friends network it never works. Any ide4as or is it always like this?

Ain't never worked since i've had the game. (since it came out)

Just always says "Failed to connect to the Friends Servers"

I was hoping it would be a bit like the xbox live friends network. Seems to be broke tho.

Just double checked my firewall setings and tey all look OK.

Oh well.

it apears to let me connect now. Maybe they were having some fault or something earlier.

Ive not played the counterstrike source thing yet. Had a rotten hangover all day today - I think someone was splitting the atom in my head. Kept away from the PC as it was making it worse. Will defo have go tomorrow tho.
