New vrs badge, dealer gave me a price of £18 each so I think they will be staying on the shelf for now !!!

jesus! Yeah i think the same will be happening for me then! Cherrs

TBH, you'd be unlikely to get much change out of £12 for a brand new (But original V style...) grille badge.

With that in mind, £18 isn't that bad for the updated variant.

I prefer this one:

but at silly prices I shall wait till something cheaper comes up..

Old school cool FTW B)

Are those grilles painted black, or can you buy them like that?

Look carbon wrapped to me bud.

Some people prefer to paint them but mines vinyl wrapped.

Spraypainted the V badge black and used an engine cover badge

for the centre.

I've never been a fan of newer generation badges on older cars.. for any car of any marque or spec.

I dunno.. to me it feels a bit like watering down the originality... (he said. planning to refit his face lift rear lights any day now) lol ;)

The only new badge onto older car I've ever really been impressed with was on my mates Peugeot 306 Meridian (top or the range).. That had nasty oval dome badges that said meridian but then when they refreshed the range they changed it to little chrome letters... It helped that his dad owned a pug dealer of course ;)

I say mod the original badge if ya wanna change it!

Works the other way round though; Retro badges on newer cars FTW!
