MFD2 Sat Nav

Featured Replies

Hi, Bought a Skoda MFD2 Sat Nav off ebay, the map cd's that i have however come up with a read error when inserted. Is there anywhere I can get a copy of the latest discs?

Or is there any way I can install the "VW" software so that skoda is not displayed? Will come in handy when selling the car

Thanks in advance

:S

Skoda sell the CDs here:

Å koda Accessories

Or you could give the Teleatlas website a try.

Have you contacted the eBay seller? They might be able to provide another disc.

I believe its possible to update the firmware on these to show a different logo, but you'll still have the green LEDs if its the Skoda one you've got. Your local VW dealer might be able to help with their own Sat Nav CD for it. I read somewhere that the firmware updates automatically when you load an updated map CD from the dealer, but I could be wrong there.
