VRS Options

Featured Replies

HI

Does any one know where i can get the option extra list and prices for the new Fabia vrs? Does not seem to be on the Skoda website?

Many Thanks

Go to skoda website, then section for Fabia hatchback or estate (not VRS section) and then to facts and figures and finally standard and optional features.

Then click vrs in the drop down box and you can see the optional extras split between Inerior, Exterior and Safety.

The Fabia II vRS options are listed below, but I wonder if any others are available, e.g heated seats are usually available but not always listed on the official brochure. If you've got a dealer who knows there stuff, they might be able to find out.

3-Spoke multi function leather steering wheel £150

With control for radio and telephone

Acoustic rear parking sensors £250

EXTERIOR

I agree. Really dont know why they have not made it an option.

My only theory is that its a way of 'dumbing down' Skoda within the VAG group!!

It IS supposed to be the budget brand after all!!! :wonder:

Maybe extra options will become available later on, to keep sales up?

I doubt it.

No other model appears to have changed the option list at a later date

If you specify adaptive light units and washer system, then you can legally fit an aftermarket HID system.

yh the adaptive lights are they projector units, maybe a talk to the dealer mite get more info on wether its possible, (honda fitted some for me when i brought a type r) and it was an option on the old vrs so im stumpted, even the octy vrs you can have with xenons. also does it have a maxi dot trip comutor?

many apologies for carp spelling. B)

Fitting some yourself is a simple job.

Yes they are projector units BTW

..and yes MaxiDot is standard

Many thanks for the info guys. Just test driven a new vrs today and liked it so ordered one. Lucky i got the last one already built and waiting to ship from factory so should have it in around 3 wks or so instead of the normal long wait.

echo the thoughts on the xenons. I had the washers etc fitted to my elegance but the lights actually have halogen printed on the side of them so im guessing your still very much in a legal no no area.

As I say:

If you specify adaptive lights, they will be self levelling

Add washers....Bobs your uncle..Its legal if you add aftermarket Xenons

Its legal anyhow if you add them. They only require auto leveling and wash if supplied from the factory with them, even so nothing on the MOT as long as they give the correct beam pattern and are set correctly.

no heated seats or leather option either....

pretty poor

ill keep my lowly mk1 vrs then ;)

i thought there was a heated seat option im sure of it

Heated seats are a £150 option.

Leather - as with many Mk1 owners, a trip to Seat Surgeons. Full leather, loads of choice regarding colours, stitching etc. and better quality. All done in one day.

Will they not need a car to make a pattern for the leather first? i doubt they will have had one in yet , maybe if you were the guinea pig you might get a discount?

I would not be surprised if they already have the templates, the only way to confirm is by asking them. As with the Mk1, they will no doubt be transforming many Mk 2s over the future months. The bulk of their business is via dealerships covering most marques and models fitting leather to new cars prior to customer collections. They also do one-offs for customer's at their premises near York as they did with my Octavia a few weeks back. Well recommended, they did a great job.
