I've got window shades on my Octy and they fit tight to the rubbers. That doesnt look right at all mate

The model of my Fabia is CONFORT, so has the plastics in beige or white as you prefer;)

When unpacked the order took some photographs.

After mounting the shades noticed the defect and saw the pictures more closely and saw that something did not look good.

By the experiences of other users of this forum have no problem in shades.

Bought mine direct from the UV website (Van Style) for a Fabia. They fit perfectly with no problems at all.

Had a query with the shades and Van Style were extremely helpful.

I would imagine that they are going to be different from different manufacturers though, it could well be that for your seller this is the norm, some other manufacturers may well sit right to the edge. If they are offering to have them back and give you refund then I'd just take that option and go somewhere else for a design which does the job you want?

maybe no one else has them that has been on here. I certainly havent got those ones I've got the stuff thats like cling film that you cut to size and stick on the window

I'd send them back to the seller if you are not happy with the fit. I've not seen anyone on this forum with them on the fabia estate but a few with the fabia hatchback. I've got some for my vrs and they fit perfectly - I got them from palmautomotive.co.uk

Actually I had seen your project.

Like your model is RSV and the plastics are black, not to see the difference.

But apparently the pictures are prefect adjusted.

Took a pic of mine - sorry its only a rubbish iPhone pic. You can see that it does go in a little at the middle but this is well hidden by the black plastic trim

is simular to mine.

If I complain, they think that is one less fault?

Otherwise I'll just put something black to hide my beige plastic. or not ?

Another solution is to arrange the plastic bag in black.
