vRS Badging Paint/Pantone codes?

Featured Replies

Hi, 4 days with my Octavia vRS now and I'm loving it. Getting PistonHeads shop to make up a green sticker to match the green in the vRS logo - does anyone know the paint/pantone code for the green in the badge (not the green of the car)?

Massive thanks in advance.

Which VRS logo are you talking about. The round front grill , rear boot one or the small front grill one.

You can get those reasonably cheap from Skoda dealers if you want the real thing unless you are getting something customised.

The front grille one and rear badge are the same colour, it's that type of green I'm after.

Basically, I'm getting a sticker of the Pistonheads logo made up to match the same green. I'm a bit anal like that!

Could you maybe remove the front grille badge, colour scan it into a computer against a white sheet of A4, then import the image into Photoshop. Use the dropper tool in Photoshop to select the green then in the color picker choose "color libraries" and "pantone" and it will go to the pantone colour code which is the nearest match to the green. That's the only way i can think of doing it. Taking a photo of a badge won't get the right green as it will depend on the light level and flash. Either that or email Skoda UK and see if they have a contact in Skoda CZ who can supply the code.

Ah i get it now.

Here is a pic on the badge if all else fails and you can get a reasonable match from this.

Cheers, that seems like a great idea. Will have to get my sister on to it as she is a graphic designer and will have all the right kit. I know what you mean about the photo, you just can't get it right.
