Fabia vRS cruise control retro fit

Featured Replies

I know there is prob loads of posts about this but ive been told loads of different things.

Ive got a 05 vrs that i belive is a facelift (has the later rear lights) an ive been told that all i need to do is fit a switch, plug it in an code it with vagcom.

Anyone know if this is true is someone bull****ting me?

This is more or less right.. About the only tricky thing about it is the removal of the airbag. ;)

Here's a Link to more details of this.

You can E-Mail them for a location and price of where garages have been known to do this. Roughly about £150 if I recall correctly.

(I have not attempted to retro-fit or have had it fitted to my vehicle so I cannot validate the accuracy of the guide. This is just something I came across when I was looking into it.)

hey, the posted link is great and very accurate.Ive retro fitted cruise using this and all works fine.Yes you have to activate it via vagcom but im sure there is someone on here with vcds in your area who would do it free. The stalk itself is around £60 from ebay if you have a search.
