BINGO!

Featured Replies

Can anyone top my list of common Fabia faults?

I've had.. Over ownership of 2 Fabia's

Leaky Doors

Coolant temp sensor failure

Fuel pump relay failure

Console bushes (on both cars)

ARB bushes, both cars

Alternator load sense cable snapped

Washer pipes popping off... all over both the car

Window Carrier

Fuse 15

Mooing rear breaks when reversing

Fuel cap release cable popping off

Creaky rear bushes in cold weather

Knocking engine / gear box mount.

And, this morning... Coolant Level Sensor failure...BINGO! YAY! lol.

(At least, I think that's what it is.. plenty of coolant, no leaks.. cold engine.. light went away 3rd time I turned it over and didn't come back). New Header Tank (is that what it's called?)

Annnnnyyy way, what's left? Never had a boost pipe pop off.. Can't think of any other faults you call common?

Hope not mate, only done 65k so few miles left on a standard car if I'm lucky.. besides, would you really call a failed turbo common on a standard vRS? :)

turbo going pop isnt a bad thing :giggle: Hybrid :smirk:

sticking throttle pedal revs at 1200rpm until you reach down and pull the pedal back new pedal box needed

Haven't had any of those problems, probably all fixed by the previous owners.

Is this common? Can't say I've heard of it on a vRS, more common on the 1.4 16v's? Lupo's get it don't they?

I think you need a steering angle sensor failure to get the full set. :)

Well, I had one fitted on the 1st Fabia to try and fix a PAS fault, but it turned out to be the pump. Does that count??

Don't want to worry you, but mines only done 65000 and it's on it's 3rd!!! :(

I thought sticking pedals was on Toyotas not Skoda.

Have you had Steering problems, or the heater motor resister?

A Stutter - although yours is an 04 (ASZ) so shouldn't have it.

Surely after the 2nd one went you might have asked if it was the turbos... or you ;)
