hey guys bought one of them ecs clutchs on friday got delivered yesterday

so car went straight to mechanic to fit today

stripped the box out to fit everthing but mising clutch bolts

could i find 6 m7 26mm bolts in the area hell no

so got to wait till tomoz for awesome to deliver the bolts

what are peoples experience with this clutch ?

I have the ECS stage 1 kit sat in the garage waiting to be fitted.

There are a few people with this kit and i have heard good things about it.

I did drive Bodge car last Sunday as i wanted to get a feel of what a SMF felt like against DMF.

You will love it and it will feel so different having a clutch pedal near the floor again.

It's cool, the only thing is I have a rattle at idle with pedal not pressed since fitting it. Otherwise fine

Yup, probably the best mod I've done so far. Getting off the line and changing gear is so much better with it.

You'll really enjoy it once it's bedded in. You just have to resist ragging it hard until then!!

Compliments a remap beautifully.

Oh and Jay, I dug out the weights we were talking about on Sunday:

The G60 flywheel weighs = 9.4Kg (20.8lbs)

The OE DMF weighs = 10.1Kg (22.3lbs)

Mine might rattle a little but that won't bother me.

May even up getting it fitted sooner rather than later know after driving yours.
