Got my first engine management light

Featured Replies

Fitted my new N75 valve today, so after fitting it I took it for a blast to see if there was any difference. The car is a lot smoother on half throttle around 3k and feels like it pulls better in 3rd and 4th? I only changed it after R-Tech remapped it and said the valve wasn't controlling the boost correctly, they also said the MAF wasn't 100%.

So on my way back I gave it some stick and when I got around 5k the traction control light came on, I pulled over and popped the bonnet and everything was okay, wiggled the MAF connection for good measure, started the car and no light drove it home and no light. So my question is does the traction control light point to a dodgy MAF? Or could it be something else? I'm going to buy a new MAF but just want to make sure its this that shows the light.

Cheers ears.

yes mate changed it for a normal one  Only changed it cos Nick said it was fubared, to be fair its made a difference. Its having the clutch master cylinder changed tomorrow so I'll see if they'll stick it on VAGCOM.

Fitted the new MAF and all seems good  Now all I need to do is stick it on the rollers and see what power she's now making.
