I have been having trouble with the idle on the Felicia 1.3 (see previous) and the very helpful bugOlugs has given me a fault code after plugging in his laptop to the car.

The code was 01274 - Activated Charcoal Filter (EVAP) System Solenoid Valve 1 (N80) 26-10 Output Open - Intermittent

He said he had not seen that before and we could not find anything about it on the internet.

Does anyone have any idea what it means?

you sure that's the right code? 01274 normally applies to the v71(air flap motor thingy) unit on later cars, the felicia does not have one of these..

nevertheless, i doubt very much a evap system fault would cause an idling problem

That is exactly what it says on the print out from VCDS.

Trust my car to have an exotic problem!
