Finally after 2 years and 40k its been done! 40mm Koni sport springs fitted delivered from DPM pretty fast delivery too from them, thank you!

gave the car a nice wash, and wax, and took some pics I'm well chuffed! I think they need to settle a bit more, however it looks pretty mean at the mo!

got a bit happy with the camera hah! Hope you like it!

mmm thanks mate!! I cant get over it, loooks sooo nice! I think the rear spacers help stick the rears out a little bit, its a little bumpyer but seems a lot less fussed about going about dailey driving. sticks like glue on the bends, and minimal roll its like a new car!

erm, the rear springs were fitted the day before the front ones were, so i beleive it front it almost fine! it was even higher yesterday so one more day I recon!!

its a shame they never did a real mk1 vRS combi! but with the black vrs seats, and the tints and the suble mods and BIG wheels make the difference

Colour coded grille would look awesome in that blue . How about vRS bumpers too? Apart from that the car looks mint dude, good work.

Also how much were the damped grab handles that you have fitted?

Thanks buddy! Ahh colour coding the front could be a nice task to do soon maybe yeah! The vw damped grab handles were £5 from the local scrapyard, but some other ones may charge more I guess! Easy to take off tho I got mine out of a bora. You just unscrew them, and pop them back on.

The fabia really suits TT comps , they are an awesome looking wheel. Also I love the Storm Blue in the sun , it really comes alive , Ive never seen a Mk1 fabia that colour before either.

Why the hell didn't they do the VRS in storm blue. God I love that colour!! more than Race Blue.

Dont think there was many made in storm blue in the mk1, I've only ever seen another hatch in the same colour, looks a treat in the sun!
