Quick Answer On Turbo Needed

Featured Replies

Currently i have a kkk turbo that has blown and im ordering a new replacement today am i advised to order a garreett replacement? is there any modification needed going from a kkk to a garrett??

Out of interest what is the mileage? and is it remapped..

Garretts are suppose to be the stronger turbo units, have previously read the bolt on is simple and the pipework is usually the same, the turbo may need clocking/rotating

Maybe somebody could explain in more detail im not sure why its done..

My mate got a hybrid 130 for hardly anymore than a standard one. Rated to 210bhp so should be well capable for running standard or mapped power

Try Turbo Technics, they may take yours as a replacement then build you a garrett one. Or use yours and rebuild it with garrett internals.

My KKK went and TT replaced it with another KKK, then that went again so they replaced it with a Garret GT1749 hybrid unit. Ask for Rik, he may be able to give you a price
