Octavia VRS Cloth Upholstery

Featured Replies

Hi everyone

I've just joined the community and would be grateful to find out if any other VRS owner has had the same problem as I have.

The car, a VRS with standard cloth interior, was bought in Mar10. Within 2 month the driver'sseat started to to show signs of ecessive wear & tear particulary around the edges of the areas where the human bottom meats the seat. Showed it to the Skoda dealer who also agreed that this was unusual and agreed to replace the seat.

Anyhoo, it's now about 3 months since the seat was replaced and exactly the same problem has occured again. I've cheked to enure that there's nothing in my back pocket that could be rubbing against the seat and I'm a fairily average weight and dimensions. So quite baffled as to why the seat seems to wear out so quickly.

Have any other Oct VRS owners had the same problem please and if so what was the solution?

Thanks
