Featured Replies

ok.. ordered my car and plan to have a jabba re map once its run it, but im dieing for a dump valve always loved them. so have anybody here got one???? if so what one,how much and were from. i want a loud one but not that loud it will sound stupid! plus do they do anything for performance +or-?? a friend said they stop the turbo over charging??? can anybody help??

hi,

i have a balieys dv26 + fitting kit on my vrs!

dv on the site is two sided some of us think there ok and some say its not!

but i just had mine in skoda last week for a service with no faults on the car

and i have a induction as well!

but i have to dv..... dv26 and a dv30 had the dv30 on for a week now and the mpg went up when the recirculating one was put back on!

because of the turbo on the vrs you might have to buy a spring set for the dv as the one that came with my baileys was far to weak and was going off at 2k revs when letting foot off gas

i have a Baileys DV 28 EVO 2 this DV does not sit in the conventional place it is situated in the pipe leading from the intercooler.... it is LOUD... but i woudlnt say silly loud..but does turn heads.. and has been know to make people jump in the company car park lol

has made no diffence to performace.... but apprently i will have to change it if i get it remapped... but we will wait and see on that one

click the links for our site sponsors... any of them will be glad to sell you a DV.... all are better than the plastic crap fitted as standard... I have a Forge race one....its the nuts!

Hmmm. On the 24 hour results it looked like this thread read, "I want/need a dump"

Then I saw the v.... was beginning to wonder if a constipated troll had got it.

If you really want to hear the 'chhhiiisssssshhhhhh' sound, then get an Induction kit. You'll defo hear it then...

ok so im right in say that dv's dont alter bhp + or -? and bailey dv are the best? any body else found that they reduce mpg + or -. i will be using the car for work so the mpg cant - to much!!!! but what does everybody think the best one is??

When I had my Octy VRS Re Mapped at Jabba, I took the advice off here & had fitted a Bailey DV30. Of course you get very little Hiss with this one. The MPG was very good & better than previous on Motorway journeys, up to 42mpg & I dont hang about. I have just bought another Octy VRS & when it is Re Mapped with Jabba in Feb 2005, I will have the DV 30 re - fitted, cus I took it off my other when I traded it in. Jabba are superb !!!.
