Koni springs... front getting lower slightly...but not alot!

Featured Replies

I've done a bit of research about koni's taking a little while to settle, but I'm not sure why the front of my car seems sometimes to be higher, yet other times it will sit fine on the front. the guy at the garage told me it was to do with the car trying to level itself out on uneven surfaces, but I'm not sure. my friend said his focus took 3 weeks to settle on his eibachs...

the photo on the left photo was taken by my mate today at work today, and I've put my comparison on it also to show the difference sometimes on how the car sits on the front wheels, and the rear....

I'm not sure if its an illusion from the rear spacers filling the arches out more or not. :wonder:

how ever, this jetta also on a forum had only just had their koni's fitted and it looks as if the front is slightly higher...

any one else had this issue?

Thanks :)

hi.

were the springs suited for the esatate, if there hatch springs it will sit lower at the rear as id guess the estate is heavier at the rear than the hatch

Hmm, It didn't state the difference, just suitable for the fabia, max rear weight was the same for all of the springs available. Umm it's just odd how on some surfaces it's really noticeable and yet on others it looks really good! Hmph!

i think it will be the added weight of the estate boot. estate has to be rear heavy

only way to get a decent drop is coilies im afraid, i was lowered on springs but had to end up getting coilies to be happy
