Leccy Windows Q?

Featured Replies

Right - normally i use the remote to open/close the car.

BUT. I decided to open it with the key.

And found :

If i open it and hold the key acroos in the open it position - ALL the windows wind down!

If i lock it and hold the key in the lock it position, they all wind up again!

What's this for then?

****s and giggles?!

This is particularly useful on HOT days, ( not that we have many @ the moment ).

You can open the windows and let some of the heat out of the car before you get in.

Or currently let some cold in. :)

Is there any way of reseting this without VAG com?

Mine used to work, but seems to have stopped working??

All windows work normally on their own.

Yes, they all work as they should, but not when i turn the key and hold.

It seemed to stop when I had it last serviced at my useless main dealer!

Holding the key in the lock position also closes the sunroof - but not vice versa.

M8 of mine works on computers so he made up a new little circuit board and fitted it for me.... now my key remote can open/close all windows and sunroof when either holding down lock button or unlock button.... very handy device if you get a fool in their flash BM or sumtink goin "beep beep" with there remote in car park thinking they are it... cause then on a summers day i can walk along and open all my windows with mine and the beeps.... think iv turned my car into the next stage of the new skoda ad!

I beleive awsome gti (link in links section) sell a device similar to what I have to use ur remote for more things.

Next..... a remote starter!!

You can get the unit for the Octavia, but due to the can bus wiring it wont work on the Fabia.

i want that one
