Swing cd rear speakers

Featured Replies

I have a 59 plate FL "S" which is fitted with a "Swing" head unit and only front speakers. Is it possible to add rear speakers? Are the wires just in the door waiting for them to be connected to speakers? If so will my head unit sense the speakers and enable them? As at the moment there is no fade as an option should be...

Regards

Kyle

Are you sure it only has front speakers???... I'm pretty certain they all come with 8 as standard - 2 in each door (mid/base unit low down and tweeter by the door handle).

More likely i that you've got the front/rear balance all the way to the front or, if not, a loose connection at the back of the headunit.

Nope mines the same, poverty spec octavias are very basic even a 10 year old corsa comes with rear speakers :(

I'm still looking for a aux in on the swing headunit, probably a optional extra.
