Expectant owners

Featured Replies

I get the impression that ,like me ,a huge amount of members are expectant! mine might even be next year . Come on Skoda build some more right hand drives. You could sell many more now I'm sure.We probably outnumber the actual owners :wonder:

Yes, your degree of expectancy seems to depend on whether you want a hole cut in the roof or not, if not then you will probably get it before mine !

Mines already on the boat and on his way over (so I'm told)

Exactly my point !

UK Yetis are built on Tuesdays - or so I am told by my dealer. Our Black Magic Elegance 1.2TSI was sellotaped and blu-tacked together last Tuesday by all accounts :giggle:

If all goes to plan and the boat isn't hijacked and taken to West Africa it should be here just in time for a '60' plate  and was ordered mid June.

We opted against having a man with an angle grinder cut a hole in the top, we only added TPM and a spare wheel.

It would drive me around the bend (no pun intended) to wait like you guys can, your made of better stuff than me!

. Test drove mine on a Saturday and collected it on the Tuesday.

We test drove one in the middle of May and there was a really nice black Elegance 1.8TSI with Columbus for sale but we decided the 1.2TSI was the better engine for our requirements so embarked on the horrid 14 week wait for it

Still, only a few more weeks to go

I know there is a long queue, but ours is waiting for us. :)

I've been to visit it, still wrapped in white plastic, but we are not registereing until 1st September.

Seems sensible to wait a few weeks and then it's got the new registration plate. Was tempting to just get it after a 15/16 week wait, but we are holding on.

+1

Even if ours arrives before September there is no way I am registering it until the '60' plate is valid otherwise you have a 2 week old car that is seemingly 6 months old

If it arrives early I can't tell SWMBO or she'll be unbearable, the Yeti is for her really

Must have changed from last year then as mine was built on a Wednesday  Although with her history of cabin rattles you would have thought Friday :giggle:
