Tomorrow we start our road trip though France, is there a way i can swap my zenons over the the other side or do i have to buy some silly stickers. I have found where the owners manual talks about tourist ligths but i guess that is if you have maxidot i do not.

if by xenons you mean proper factory fitted hid then yes you can. by Eu law they have to have a switch to do just this. however there was no directive to have an easy means to do it.

i had a focus with hid and you had to take off the bub cover on the back and there was a metal lever, it moved up or down to change.

Thanks these are factory fit ones there is a lever near the front that you can pull but not sure what it does.

With maxidot it would be set in 'Tourist' mode, but without I wonder if someone with a VCDS could do it, otherwise the stickers are quite fetching!
