Hard days cleaning

Featured Replies

As the in laws were visiting, I thought I'd get the buckets out and give the Octi a good clean (inside and out).

It was a bit of a mess, brake dust caked alloys (yep - I popped down to halfrauds and picked up a wheel brush), and the front of it looked like a dead bug festival.

So I cracked out the Autoglym, buckets and a hosepipe and got stuck in.

Now I'm no pro and others may think it's a little amatuer, but it looks better than when delivered.

The usual tools were used (2bm, lambswool mitt, MF drying tools, hosepipe), and I had a shed load of Autoglym (shampoo, Polish, wax, glass cleaner and Detailer).

Looks spot on - is that the flat black? I had a black car once! Never again - look good for all of 5 mins!

If you want more detailing stuff and wheel cleaner etc look at the bulk meguiars range.

It's the Black Magic paint, and yeh.. tell me about it.. even if I don't go anywhere it still seems to attrach stuff. Got up this morning to find a raft load of insects chilling on the roof..

Skoda never mentioned that the colour attracted them
