I got in the car the other night - well, it was going dark, anyway - and noticed that the the radio illumination was pulsing on and off.

Standard vRS 'Symphony' head unit. :S

No other panel lights on.

I thought for a moment that something expensive had happened with the electrics. :'(

Anyway, I fired up and switched the radio on and all was fine. :)

I think I might have left the radio on earlier (with turned the volume down) and not noticed.

I reckon the flashing lights werethe radio's little way of telling me it had switched itself off after 1/2 an hour (or however long it stays on with the ignition off before it decides not to flatten your battery if you've gone off and left it all alone!)

Sorry if this is a well-known 'feature'!
