Had my first pro-active call from the dealer today having ordered the car on the 5th of May,

Having been worried all weeekend that my car was going to be delayed again (due to the floods at the factory - due to be built week 33) it seems that my car must have been built last week before the floods, and is now on a boat (or at the docks).

Dealer had told me that I can now still expect delivery for the 1st of September.

I am going in on tuesday to sign the finance docs as I am away at the end of next week.

Fingers crossed.

L & K with LOTS of extras. It was so long ago, that I cant remember what I put on it, but I do know I will be one of the few with a sunroof!

Lets hope it's shut then. If the boat does go down water will get in.

I wonder if the ship comes up the Solent? I wouldn't want to cause any worries, but my wife looked out of our upstairs window this morning and spotted a submarine.......................................................Should be ok though, haven't heard of anything being torpedoed for a few years........!! A Pompey ferry called the Portsdown hit a German mine and sank some years back just off Lee on Solent though.

My plate didn't work out to bad in the end with ??10 0k? so I've got 100k in the middle, maybe I can move the outer letters out a little to give me LOOK...... and get a £60 fine for my troubles
