Fabia (06/10 >) Rear Lamp Lenses

I am taking delivery of my first Skoda Fabia SE 70 on 1st Sept 2010 (the dealer already has the car!).

I have had several cars over many years from VAG, including VW, AUDI and SEAT.

My first POLO (The breadvan!) had rear lamps with FOG in one and REVERSE in the other.

I bought a NEW lamp from Germany and fitted it, two lamps with fog lights.

I fitted flush reversing lamps into the bumper (same as Morris Marina and MGB!).

Correcting this fault on subsequent greedy design fault on VAG cars needed a bit wire and a bulb as holders were already fitted. AUDI even had the wire, only needed a bulb!

I don't feel inclined to place my life in the hands of ONE fog light bulb filament travelling on a rain lashed motorway.

Now, with my new Fabia I'm taken back over 30 years to my POLO lamp idea, one of each!

I would like to correct this and wonder if members can help me to source -

1. The Skoda lamp unit WITHOUT the white reversing lens built in (from abroad?) and

2. Suggestions for VERY NEAT, FLUSH FITTING reversing lamps, possibly as standard UK fitting to some Japanese car or 4X4. These must look neat, not 'add-on.

It is 5 years since I last owned a car in my name and have no NCD to claim, bah, humbug.

Any genuine assistance would be appreciated.
