Fabia 4x4

Featured Replies

Has anyone got/seen/heard of a Fabia being converted to 4x4 ?

There's one in Czech and I've had a passenger ride in it. Was awesome but totally built just for drag racing. Fabias can be quite quick in 2wd mode too ;)

I believe there was a Czech one some of our members encountered whilst on a trip over there.

Then of course there are the WRC cars, possible but for those with very deep pockets or a natural flair for fabrication.

I have looked into this before as has Jason i'm sure, but unless you have more money than sense it's a no go. :(

As has been pointed out it has been done by Czech tuning company Turbodevils, so is more than possible but serious money must be invested.

Result is amazing though. Fast as fook and mad as a box a frogs! :o

Have a look at it.........

That is the car I have had a ride in. :D

WRC and Rallycross cars are 4WD.

The Rallycross ones are impressive. 550 BHP (not 300 of a WRC), and do 0-60 mph in about 2 seconds. B) There was a chap a few years ago who became European Rallycross Champion twice in a row driving a Mk1 Fabia Supercar.

Please post a vid of that super furby?

I can almost see whats going on though all the smoke!!

So do I assume apart from the pro level rally cars there isn't a 4x4 Fabia in the UK?

That sounds like another good reason to go ahead with my crazy idea :D

Go for it, look forward to seeing it.

Don't forget the Milotec Dragon. It used most of the bits from a Mk I Audi TT - 300bhp from a 1.8l Turbo and 4WD. Just a shame it had a Milotec Bodykit

Thats up for sale, 60k euros! Although it looks bloody awful.

Decent paintjob, nice set of wheels and remove some of the tat and the Dragon would be fine.

Looking at the pics on their site that rear end is interesting, using the Audi TT diff and driveshafts but completely new fabricated arms, suspension subframe etc.

I noticed that but I'm not sure whats under the back on the TT.. I assume it doesn't have double wishbone like the dragon? Maybe thats from the world of WRC or rally cross?

It's a shame they don't have any build information on it.
