Hi Ross to be honest the K&N Typhoon and Forge DV won't get you any more power apart from more noise. The Stage 2 Custom code map will though, but not sure of the requirements you need to be able to have a stage 2. I know Revo require a turbo back exhaust, 4 bar FPR and FMIC to deal with the stress of a stage 2. This means you may have to spend out a lot to get those items first.

You my need to go stage 1 first then prep your car over time doing the mods as you go then go for stage 2.

A K&N Typhoon and Forge DV is over half way towards a decent remap in cost, so get remap for a better power gain first.

Best bet is contact the remappers for advise.

Fixed quote :)

Have you owned the car since new or only just bought it? It may have a remap on it already, unless you drove it back to back with a standard one you might not realise.

As Bowders said Stage 2 normally needs a lot of expensive other bits such as a full turbo back exhaust system, a front mount intercooler etc. Stage 1 is more likely to be done with just an upgrade to the air filter and divertor valve.

Do a search on here there are about 10000 posts about remaps and getting more power out of the engine

Personally I'd do the suspension and brakes first before you up the power. Upping the power might make it quicker in a straight line but not through the twisties.

hi guys thanks for response, yeah i spoke to simon down formula 1 in brighton, he said there are two levels to stage 2 remap, he recomended stage 2 but the lower level, in order for that set up to work id need to upgrade air filter and a forge dump valve... and i could add an intercooler aswell that would give me approxmateltly 205 - 220bhp and more torque, was also thinking on a new exhaust system then maybe decat it hmm im not to sure tho. was gunna get grooved and drilled disc as they need replacing any ideas on good set of pads and discs all round or good combination of disc and pads. as for suspension i dont want to lower it as its low atm mine has the 16" vrs wheels... i like the ride height would like to just firm it up would a new set of springs work or complete dampers and springs ? sorry for all the questions

cheers ross
