skoda advertised APR on new octavias

Featured Replies

The APR skoda are offering of 5.4% on their HP scheme seems very competitive. Is this typically what people are being offered or are their hidden costs.

Best I've found independently is 9.2% on 14,5K over 4yrs which works out as 2,7K interest!

Well I got 5% 3yr ago when the base interest rate was a lot higher so much like the banks they are not as generous as they used to be. But compared to a personal loan it's pretty good.

It's definitely APR and not flat rate?

Have you tried www.moneysupermarket.com ? They seem to be offering personal loans at 7.8% APR through Sainsburys or Alliance & Leicester. (total charge £2340 payment £350.83)

I'm pretty sure my HP was around that figure when I bought my car back in March so I think that's pretty typical.

 I only looked at this thread because I thought the OP was talking about APR tuning!! :giggle:

6.9% i got over 3 years paying back over £2k interest ( trying not to thing about this though!)

I was offered 2.25% flat when looking at the Yeti. APR about 5.2% depending on amount/time.

Mine is 5.4% APR over three years, which I think is about 2.5% flat - VW finance through Skoda dealership.

Couldn't find better elsewhere when I looked, unless of course you can add your loan to your mortgage!

Skoda were offering interest free over two years in July, but the monthly rate worked out too steep for us.
