Will These Fit?

Featured Replies

Morning Briskodians,

Can someone please let me know whether these will fit my 2009 VRS Ltd Edition, and not rub / stick out excessively?

What exactly would be different when compared to my current wheels?

My link

Thanks

Dan

Yes, they will fit just fine. They will fill the arches far better than the oem wheels. The 235 wide tyres might rub the rear arches a little with some load in the back (well at least mine did). Accellera tyres are cheapo crap and dreadfull in the wet, so you may want to replace them anyway.

Cheers chaps, I am correct in saying that 225 tyres will fit these wheels ok?

The offset calculator seems to think that i will have 5mm more clearence on the inside and will stick out 17mm more, does this sound about right? (ET54 on current Ltd edition "square" alloys vs ET43 on ebay wheels)

Providing the LE wheels are 7.5" wide (which im pretty sure they are) then yes that's spot on .

Skoda fit 225/40/18 tyres.

225 wide tyres will be fine on those, I used my old wheels (same size/offset) with 235s on until they were worn out and changed them then.

Make sure they really are genuine wheels and not replicas, as its very hard to tell the difference (apart from the replicas being much heavier).
