Yeti taken round Nurburgring!

Featured Replies

Came across this video on YouTube. A 1.8 TSI Skoda Yeti driven around the famous Nurburgring. Someone had to to it! Anyone from here?

Lap time?

The lap times not mentioned, but it would be interesting to see it.

That's Evo's long termer and Dickie Meaden at the wheel. A bit of a legend by all accounts B)

Oh, and it was on sticky Dunlop track tyres by the way - which is why it was doing so well really, along with driver talent

Thanks Steve, I just thought it was some random guy thrashing his own car round the track :giggle:

I'd have a go round the Nurburgring myself if Skoda gave me lend of a remapped 170 TDi for the day!

EVO bet me too it!

Oh well, we'll have to see how the 1.2 does against the legendary Nordschleife - not sure the Wife will let me fit track tyres though..............

Now if they could get that rather attractive young German girl who did the 'Ring in the Transit van on TG....................... :p

LOL, the last time I was there, Sabine (like I know her!) over took me - sideways, going around Aremberg - she was driving an M5 'Ring Taxi'. She can seriously drive and never stops smiling - but then if I had her job I'd be rather jolly too!
