Parrot RKi8400 Headunit - Brand New

Featured Replies

Getting a replacement sorted by Parrot at the moment, due to a fault - so this will be brand new direct from the manufacturer with 12 months warranty.

A great headunit with superb SQ, plus full control of your phone and iPod. I've had & used iPod control from Alpine and Pioneer and this is by far the best system I've used. Plus you've got a full Parrot handsfree phone system with voice recognition/full auto name tagging etc into the bargain! It's also possible to stream music over Bluetooth from a compatible device. Front unclips totally, and Parrot carry case is included in the box. Just to be clear, there's no CD slot - this digital only! And nicely the void behind the fascia holds your iPod, or USB stick B) SD slot is on the side of the fascia. All very neatly done

Full spec and detail from the Parrot site here

I've a load of photos of the original, when it was fitted to my Fabia. To re-iterate, the unit for sale is brand new and unopened.

£180.

Thanks,

Steve

Yes it's still for sale. Drop me a PM if you're interested.

Steve

Do you know if it will a CD changer too ??

  • Author

Pretty sure it will handle a CD changer yes, as the unit has AUX inputs.

Quite why you'd want to I'm not sure - with it being so capable with digital media :)

I'd just rip the CDs you want, and then pop them on an SD card/USB stick/iPod - easier, and cheaper

Cheers,

Steve

Just cos there's a cd changer under front seat thats all, it would retain the possibility of using cd's thats all.

Kids and wife in car sometimes and I ain't putting their crap on my digi stuff

Ah well, it wouldn't work with a Skoda changer. It would work with an aftermarket one, which use proper connectors.

Just put their stuff on a separate say, 8Gb SDHC or USB stick. Thousands of songs for less than £10. Seriously, you don't need those round things with the holes in the middle inside your car anymore ;)

Steve
