I don't have the part numbers for the 4 screws and captive nuts as they were on back order so I used self tapping screws and spire nuts.

worked a treat.

thanks, which part number is for is which part?

i'm guessing one of those is for left/ right seat... i only need right one

ok now I am really really confused my car looks like it has a small intercooler type rad fitted in front of or immediately above another large radiator at the front of the car but I cant see any other coolers anywhere in the back of the enigne bay and Ive spent half an hour poking around my engine bay.

Just wondering as well, my car has a pair of smallish (about 15-20 mm) metal pipes running through a hole in the frame next to the suspesnion strut tower on the drives side, but the hole they are going through has been padded out with black foam wrapped in clear plastic - is it supposed to be there??????

Well I owned a 1.2 Tsi 77 KW Roomster and i have exactly the same material at exactly the same place. I asked my local dealer and he told me that this foamy thing wrapped in clear plastic should be there. The two metal pipes are high pressure fuel pipes and this foamy things keeps them tight in place. I have the car for two months now and i have 6.200Km on clock in extremely hot weather (39 and 40 C ) and climbing mountain roads or cruising at highway. The plastic wrap is not hot or very hot under any circumstances. See i was afraid of melting the plastic and catching fire. No it is always warm and never hot.

I have read at a Greek VW owners club that polos with 1.2 Tsi 77Kw engine used to have a strange buzzing sound coming from that side of the car. In Greece that side of the car is passenger's side but the engine is fitted exactly the same. Some one else wrote (i don't remember where) that he had a smell of petrol and a lot of his fuel under the car and finally found out that the connection of one of the pipes was lose.

My opinion is that it should be there. Anyway the car is under warranty for the next two years.

Sorry , not much help as my receipt does not say.

I'm sure its posted elsewhere on this forum, and in any case I

would always recommend checking with your dealer.

Hi Fabia 55.

I have been looking at this myself and on the Skoda accessories site, it does say which is which but it also says up to year07! i am guessing they just didnt carry on listing, perhaps because I think they came out with a sliding drawre, costing more, for late cars.

I am happy with just the boxes if they fit my59 plater!

If I see the numbers, I will update this accordingly. Have you already got one side fitted, then?
