Glovebox bulb holder

Featured Replies

Can someone do me a big favour and take out your glovebox bulb holder and take some pics of it?

It's easiest to remove the glovebox first otherwise you have to try and squeeze the bulbholder out of the little hole in the side of it.

I've dismantled mine in the process of fitting LED bulbs and now can't figure out how it goes back together! There's a spring around the little tab that moves when you open and close the glovebox lid and that's popped off

Watching this with interest as I've done exactly the same thing, not had a light in the glovebox for 3 months now :giggle::doh:

The spring actually needs to be wound once more round the spindle of the little tab thing (so it's quite tight) then the two ends of the spring seat on the two metal tabs as pictured on the thread on UKMkIVs.
