Cambelt change and water pump for £220? Is this a good offer?

Featured Replies

Hi guys,

I just bought a VRS and my brother in law (mechanic) garage does some work for me now and then at cut price rates. Well i have only been married for 8 months!!!

The cheapest he could go is £220...is this reasonable???

This includes the full cambelt kit and the water pump will be of the metal variety...

Yep, i'd bite his hand off at that price. Will he do mine for the same????

Thats about a saving of a third as it should be up nearer the £300-£330+ mark.

 Where abouts ru? Does he also do mate rates? heh, its a good price.

Normal prices are about £300+
