Does anyone know if the FL Fabia:

As standard, as welcome/coming home headlights when unlocking/locking the vehicle

or

Can the above be programmed via the dealers diagnostic tools to work (bit like the auto door lock/unlock)?

I believe they are only available if you have auto lights

Fair point - without the sensor it would have to be all or nothing and I suspect it will be nothing!

I have heard that you can possibly have the facility even if you don't have the auto lights, will have to be coded by VCDS if you don't have maxidot and they will work everytime you open the car with the remote fob or leave the lights on when you park up. The sensor for the auto lights adds the facility for the car to not turn the lights on if the ambient light level is high enough to not need them.
