Selling a few things, recommendation on prices?

Featured Replies

How do,

Just a quick one really, selling my original set of wheels soon as others convinced me not to wait to get new tyres on the new wheels :D was wondering what prices can I get for some:

(1) 16" Fabia Vrs alloys - good cond. few minor curb marks but done by PREVIOUS owner. :dull:

Comes with decent tyres 205/45/16 - 2x toyo t1r's with lots of tread, only bought few weeks ago? 2x Bridgestone ER300 TURANZA, lots of tread, used as rears so very little wear.

And

(2) Standard 288mm Green Vrs front brake set up, 100% good, just a little dusty thats all (calipers/carriers, partly worn disc/pads) - ran for ~30k?

1. £250-300?

2. £100?

:S

Thanks for your help!

standard vrs wheels....

£200

standard vrs front brake you'll be lucky if you can sell them, i have a set in my shed still from 2007

Same here....

I'm sure I remember a while back that a member was actually struggling to give a set of standard vRS brakes away...

Lol excellent.. I have some expensive paper weights :p

Thanks guys, think I may try my luck with wheels as I've spent £80 for toyo's and £100 on the bridgestones not v long ago at all :'(

yeah if the tyres are new you could demand a bit more money for the rims

i too have a set of 288 callipers in my shed.

They tend not to be the kind of thing that goes wrong so not much of a market for them.

And on the upgrade front there are very few non-VRS Fabias that people modify.

Probaly worth hanging on to them so if you sell the car you can go back to oem spec and made some cash out of floggin the 312's

JLneonhug YHPM on the wheel front
