New skodas / new octavia!?

Featured Replies

Cheap & fugly

This definitely isn't a local indian market specific thing is it?

Looks like a slightly enlarged Fabia II FL with a boot, is it not the Octavia I (Tudor) replacement :wonder:

Some bored motoring journalist has been busy on Photoshop, that ain't no Octavia replacement!

Its an Indian Market only car...The Foctavia ;)

yeah, thought that it might be a Laura replacement for the INdian market. the MPV on the link looks pretty cool

excuse me while I go and throw up...

The photo has "automobile-magazine.fr" watermarked on it and the car has EU number plates too.

It's from ze French!

Isnt that the Felicia?

Scuse ignorance... what's the felicia aimed at? A sub-Octavia market? If so looks quite cool, though a bit too much like a saloon fabia?

The current Octavia II is called the Laura in India so for them it is replacing the Octavia (Octavia I which they still get).

Maybe we'll see these working as Mini-cabs in the UK soon.

Looks like a Fabia saloon to me!

Wasnt there talk of skoda bringing out a model that was between the Octavia and Fabia like Megane and Astra size ? to cover that part of the market?

If they would put the back door handles in the same place on the UK roomster, I think they would sell more, especially to the taxi, private hire market, where they are at the moment hidden on the frame most customers would not find them, also change the rear door design so the glass line runs strait through
