I'm thinking of buying a polisher. Does it have to be an orbital? emoticon-0112-wondering.gif

You have two choices

The rotary or the DA (dual action)

If you haven't much experience m/c polishing then I would recomend the DA, due to It being more user friendly & low risk to the paint.

The dual action Is different to the rotary. The rotary spins circular on a fixed point where as a DA, the polishing head oscillates randomly about a fixed point as the polishing head spins (hence the term dual action). This means that friction is vastly reduced at any given point of contact, limiting the effective work rate and greatly reducing the risk of burning the finish or removing too much paint.

No problems. I'm not a true supporter. I've been to a fair few blades games as well ;)

Any help & advice feel free to contact me
