i know my local dealer would but there isnt one that is very close! so id prefer to order it online if possible. I have emailed the skoda dealer in south wales to see if he will post out the part so waiting to hear off him. Just wondered if anyone knew what its called or the part number if it falls through with the skoda dealer i brought it off in south wales. Ryan

Did you break it when cleaning the car? I broke two when I had my first Octy2. Impossibly flimsy design in my view.

It would appear that the clip isn't available separately. I had to order the blade as well on both occasions, as they come as a pair. The ETKA parts catalogue also confirmed this.

Can't remember how much it was, I got one of them direct from Jorily who are a Skoda parts company who are site sponsors here. May have been around £8.

I might be needing a new rear blade soon though, so if you want to split them drop me a PM :)

Cheers,

Steve

I broke mine about 2 years ago when the power washer slapped it down the wrong way. A common thing on all VAG cars apparently.

As said you get a replacement with a new wiper. Mine has held on well enough just using the pressure from the wiper arm. It falls off when you pick it up but otherwise it's fine.

Yes, we have the rear wiper blade in stock:

I had to have a new rear wiper on my Octy a couple of weeks ago when my car was in for service, as one of the clips had gone missing from the end of the blade. Only cost a fiver for complete blade from the main dealer (Turners of Erlestoke) who were carrying out the service.

I done the exact same thing myself at the weekend!

I wouldn't mind - can happen once. But I managed it twice whilst washing the car :dull:

I learnt my lesson after that and just lifted the blade briefly to clean it and the glass around it....

And I'm doing the same on this one now

Cheers,

Steve
