Route Mapping S/W

Featured Replies

Which is the best Route Mapping S/W to get? and does anyone have a recent ish copy of Auto Express as they tested said S/W and had a best buy recommendation, but I've lost my copy :(

I know MS AR 2005 & Route 66 Britian 2005 doesn't show the M6 Toll.

BTW I have tried Autoexpress's Web Site and it's not listed yet.

TIA

I use Microsoft Mappoint 2004 which seems to be great. However, I'm not sure how much it costs and how it fairs in terms of value for money as it comes free as part of my MSDN Developer Subscription (paid for by my wonderful employer)..... :)

I also managed to get a copy of Map Point 2004 from a colleague in our IT Dept, and whilst it's pretty good (understand AR 2005 uses the same maps) it doesn't include M6 Toll.

Thanks but no, it includes the M6 Toll but and a big but:

"Note: Quick Route does not include street-level detail or postcodes. For street-level detail, postcodes and satellite positioning, try the iPAQ Navigation System."

I use TomTom, but the version I have does not have M6 Toll, I have been told though that there is an update disk out that includes updates, which I am trying to get ahold of.
