Proximity alarm sensor in Fabia I with electric sunroof

Featured Replies

I am struggling to find a good location for a proximity sensor on a Fabia with electric sunroof. Due to the sunroof under the headliner (which is the best place) is ruled out, under the cover by the motor and interior lights is too tight a space, and there doesn't seem to be much space under the centre console. I guess the best place is probably beneath the cup holder in the centre console, as this is closest to the centre spot of the car, although this may foul the handbrake mechanism and be in a difficult place to adjust later.

Was planning to give up on it and use a glass break sensor instead. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance.
